Link.md challenges for the brave

All modals are using the browser native popups on firefox

Hovering over an item in the right side bar like an uploaded image while another user is doing something makes the icons flicker

Suggest Mode
-
Cannot delete backwards in a bullet point to remove it.
-
Inserting within a deletion does not split the deletion into a substitution + deletion, but instead mangles it into
~~} -
Changes in codeblocks do not get marked as annotations (but maybe this is for the better).
-
Inserting parentheses places the cursor after the last parenthesis, while it should be in between the two.
Collaboration
-
Renaming the file while another user is active in it, eventually(?) causes the name to roll back for both users, prompting them to accept the old name
-
Cursor jumps around when other user is active in same note, causing frequent and very annoying jumps.
- Sometimes when another user types the cursor moves backwards
- Sometimes when you are typing, the cursor randomly moves backwards for a millisecond.
-
Apparently you can get diconnected but the status indicator in the top right still shows a green dot, causing your edits to go to the void
Other
-
Sometimes when moving the cursor over a link in edit mode enters me into the link change menu that I need to exit using
esc, but most of the time the cursor just moves over the link like normal text -
Wiki link suggestions don't include images, so adding a link to an already uploaded image can be annoying, considdering the names of images (

CriticMarkup
-
ADD, where the#REFrepresents the author/timestamp attribution, should not be marked as a comment. If this is supposed to be conform to standards, then it should be something different from a comment markup. Maybe something custom (e.g.{@@ #REF @@}?) -
Paragraphs are supported insertions/deletions according to the Criticmarkup Toolkit
[...] Paragraphs may also be deleted. [...]
Future Features
-
Restoring a snapshot from history could also be a CriticMarkup diff.
-
Attachments cannot be viewed under
Files.
Nits
-
Logo does not fit in with the rest of Obsidian's branding - even if its very nice.
